Senior Associate, Acquisition Marketing (P1)

Summary
The Acquisition Marketing team is responsible for acquiring qualified new supporters and deepening the commitment of existing supporters giving to Save the Children’s two sustainer programs (undesignated and child sponsorship). Growth of our sustainer audience is key to achieving Save the Children’s ambition to reach three million supporters by the end of 2025.

As Senior Associate of Acquisition Marketing, you will manage all operations related to Save the Children’s DRTV, canvassing (face-to-face), streaming video (connected TV) and radio fundraising campaigns to optimize sustainer acquisition efforts. You will have the opportunity to work with our brand, technology, digital, operations, country office staff and external vendors to help ensure we are getting the right message to the right audience in the right channels to grow our sustainer audience.

What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)
Campaign Management (50%)
  • Under the direction of the Senior Director, manage operations of marketing campaigns, including DRTV, canvassing (face-to-face), streaming video (connected TV) and radio channels.
  • Source content and track all campaign assets for updates and changes and facilitate the flow between Save the Children and external vendors or internal departments (creative, brand, legal, business technology solutions).
  • Support production of project plans and timelines with internal departments and external vendors and others.
  • Submit internal department requests to help execute campaigns and understand results.
  • Maintain an organized system for easy access to all campaign materials such as meeting notes, vendor agreements, strategy documents and creative samples.
  • Assist the Senior Director with emergency response campaigns, which might require working after hours or weekends for high-priority emergencies.
Financial management and reporting (40%)
  • Code and submit invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Keep expense tracker up to date and support in comparing budget vs. actual spend.
  • Build ad-hoc reports and conduct analyses to support campaign optimization.
  • Manage vendor operational needs, including onboarding, trainings, data transfers, state filings.
Ad-hoc projects and professional development (10%)
  • Assist the team on ad-hoc projects and perform other duties as required.
  • Dedicate time to learning best practices and building industry knowledge for professional development and to further contribute to team’s success.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Independent problem-solver and decision-maker on matters related to functional areas.
  • Ability and openness to learn new skills to support team as needed.
  • Proactive and eager to join a fast-paced team.
  • Professional proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering and maintaining an environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Graphic design and/or digital experience.

Compensation
Save the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:
  • Geo 1 - NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Target Salary for this position is $55,250 – $61,750 base salary
  • Geo 2 - Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $50,150 – $56,050 base salary
  • Geo 3 - Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $45,050 – $50,350 base salary

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location. Employee may be eligible for an incentive program. Save the Children also offers paid vacation, accrued at least 12 days a year, depending on paygrade and length of service, paid safety and wellness leave of at least 1 day per month worked for a full time employee which is pro rata reduced for employees working less than a full time schedule, and at least 10 paid holidays a year. Employees may be eligible for additional bonus compensation.
