Project Coordinator/ Construction Project Cost Administrator Atlas Capital Group

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Direct accountability for developing and maintaining budgets on individual projects. Work with and coordinate architects, consultants, and contractors. Monitor progress, review contracts, and approval of payments.
  • Prepare contracts, exhibits, work authorization of change orders, close out packages, etc.
  • Assure accurate budget tracking and variance reports for projects.
  • Prepare budget revision forms to send for approval
  • Review and process contractor G702/G703 pay apps
  • File and save project documents on shared drive, using company naming convention
  • Coordinate insurance certificates with vendors and staff as required by contract documents and Corporate policies.
  • Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in day-to-day administration of projects.
  • Provide additional administrative support to Project Managers and Superintendents for submittals and job closeout documentation.
  • Providing follow-up with vendors, subcontractors and clients to ensure approval and return of all project documentation.
  • Using the company accounting software to run project reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Desirable experience with a construction, architectural, or property management company which includes new shell/core construction, major renovations, and sophisticated tenant improvement/interior work.
  • Candidate must have experience with AIA G702/G703 forms
  • Candidate must operate well in an active office environment.
  • Candidate should possess desire for professional growth and development as well as demonstrate the ability to take initiative.
  • Knowledge of construction principles, techniques, and procedures
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word, and other construction related software
  • Ability to effectively present information in oral, written and graphic form
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, and outside entities
  • Demonstrated skills in organizing and evaluating information and in proactively finding solutions
  • Working knowledge in calendar and scheduling, document management, and control.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural Degree desirable, but not required.
