WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Current Boutique is looking for an eCommerce/Social Media intern who is stylish, knowledgeable of current fashion trends, eager to learn, and dedicated to product quality. You love fashion, but also have a good understanding of the industry and all the back-end work that goes into creating the final product.
The position is based out of our Potomac Yards Alexandria office.
WHO YOU ARE:
- You have a strong interest in women's fashion and shopping online
- You are inspired by the challenge of building a brand online
- You have initiative and are able to work independently
- You are able to multi-task and be flexible in a changing environment
- You possess effective time management skills
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Strong writing skills
- Detail-oriented
- Experience with social media (familiarity with video-based social media a plus)
- Graphic design skills preferred
- Clothing retail experience preferred
- Must be hard-working, attentive, and possess a strong work ethic
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Engaging with social media influencers
- Curating, preparing and describing online inventory
- Participating in all aspects of the fulfillment process
- Learning all of the behind the scenes efforts of a successful website
