Research Analyst- Summer Intern
The intern role is a full-time, in-person (hybrid) paid summer internship. The start date is negotiable (ideally immediately) and the internship will last 10 weeks.
Main responsibilities:
· Lead the collection and cleaning of fee data from primary source fee schedules; prepare and upload data into existing database.
· Provide support for Analyst/Project Manager who is rolling out a new data product focusing on fees for investment management services
· Basic research and analytical tasks, including data analysis, creating exhibits/charts/narratives from existing datasets, other quantitative and qualitative research (e.g., secondary literature searches)
Skills needed:
· Proficient in Excel: Capability to clean and visualize data in Microsoft Excel, including experience with some advanced functions such as Vlookup, Index-Match, Sumif.
· Strong troubleshooting skills
· (Optional) Basic to intermediate level coding abilities in Python and SQL are optional, but helpful
· Other skills: good written and verbal communication, diligent and well-organized
