Account Representative-Level 1

To keep step with Carahsoft Technology Corp.'s rapid growth in the technology market, we are in search of collaborative, driven and forward-thinking individuals to continue to grow our business. We currently have openings for Account Representatives-Level 1.
 
Account Representatives-Level 1 are focused on identifying, qualifying and closing federal, state and local government opportunities. You will be responsible for relationship development, proposal writing, and new business development, and will gain valuable hands-on business and government contracting experience.
 
Overall Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned accounts
- Work effectively within assigned territory and named account base to maximize potential
- Generate leads, qualify opportunities, and forecast pipeline
- Responsible for set revenue expectations and achievements
- Build strong relationships to achieve win/win results toward common goal
- Drive registration to and attend client meetings and events
- Build strong relationships to achieve client goals

Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- Professional experience in the form of previous positions or internships
- Clear, concise communication skills
- Strong desire to learn about federal software marketing
- Proven track record of leadership, responsibility, and dependability
- Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
