Game Design/Development Instructor
Game Design Instructor Job Description
TAG is seeking highly motivated self-starters to teach a Game Design course. The position is part time in the evenings from 4pm -6pm 1 night per week.
Candidate must possess:
Excellent communication and time management skills.
A desire make a difference and enrich kids’ lives by teaching STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) curriculums with a focus in technology.
Experience playing video games.
A strong desire to learn new skills across many disciplines.
Ability to effectively manage multiple students at a time and work without supervision.
Transportation a plus but not required.
Comfortable with computers.
Technical Skills:
A background in Game Design
Knowledge of programming as it relates to Game Design/Development
Experience with project based learning
Experience with one or more of the following Gaming Platforms a plus:
Kodu Game Labs, Scratch, Game Salad, Game Maker, Unity 3D,Experience with Adobe Photoshop a plus
