Spring 2018 Intern, Catholic Apostolate Center

Administrative Internships

The Catholic Apostolate Center is accepting applications for a Spring 2018 Intern. Are you interested in getting real-time, hands-on experience in writing, video production, and non-profit administration in a dynamic Catholic setting? Do you want to develop relationships and network with Catholic leaders and professionals?

We are looking for people who have an interest in Catholic evangelization, theology, writing, technology and website design, video production, and social media/promotion work. We are looking for people who would be willing to work 5 hrs/week or more for class credit. We will discuss during the interview process your interests and will work with you on developing your passions into marketable skills post college.

After the internship, assuming excellent follow-through and professionalism, a letter of recommendation will be provided by the Director and Assistant Directors, highlighting your portfolio work, if requested.

Selected duties and information is provided below:
Reporting to the Director, the Administrative Intern assists with various projects of the Catholic Apostolate Center. The Administrative Intern works with the Director, Assistant Directors, Managers, Coordinators, Associates, and Collaborators, who assist with newsletters and related projects.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in creating, updating, and implementing new resource pages on the Catholic Apostolate Center website, including Prayer & Catechesis, New Evangelization, Pallotti Portal, etc.
  2. Assist with updating the Catholic Apostolate Center Speaker and Media Inquiries, Affiliates, and Advisors Pages with relevant and timely information, including biographical information about our advisors.
  3. Assist in the development and implementation of a system to update upcoming conferences and speaking events as well as a way to mention and showcase guests of Green Hill.
  4. Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate –Immaculate Conception Province’s (www.sacapostles.org) social media, website, and promotion efforts. The Center is a ministry of the Immaculate Conception Province.
  5. Assist in editing of websites, videos, podcasts, photos, and writing projects as needed.
  6. Assist in gathering contact information for diocesan communications offices.
  7. Assist in migrating files to Cloud storage.
  8. Collaborate and contribute where needed with Center staff on various projects.
  9. Assist in the research of information as assigned by Center staff and advisors.
  10. Other duties as assigned by the Director, Center staff, and advisors.
